Just sit by the water here, always something coming by. Not many deep spots in the lake, most of it is right for wading.

Cool looking bird.

It kind of looks like the camera focused on the plant in front of the bird however as the plant is sharp but the bird is not.

That is a nice LBH!

What zoomn said about where the camera was focusing does seem to be the case. This isn't easy to solve with the current crop of P&S cameras. If your camera has a spot focusing mode, like mine does, I've found that you first focus using that mode, lock the focus and then frame the picture as you like and snap the shot. The only drawback is that you need the time to do this but you get pretty efficient at it after awhile.

Thanks for the very kind words. I chose this one out of a bunch as the best candidate to print, no shortage of shots at that little lake. I am waiting for FedEx to get here with My new TC for the C720. I should be able to be more selective in My shots and have more time.
