We seem to be getting gulls in our backyard worming lately. I know we live on the coast but really, should they not be out fishing around in the ocean and not my backyard:crazy::-)

Good shots, Julie. You have to admit that their being in your yard and not at the coast did give you the easy opportunity to photograph them - you can't be too disappointed in that!

well at least they WERE looking for food themselves, not just standing outside the local take away food joint hoping someone will throw them a bit of chicken or something:-)

Those red bills are great. I don't believe any of the Gulls on the east cost of the US have bills like that. They really stand out against that white.

Good job handling the exposure, white birds aren't all that easy.

thanks, yes I know the lawn is getting a bit long, weve had a lot of rain lately and my backyard slopes down hill so the bottom get a bit mushy, this is why these guys are here worm hunting:-)
