I love the camera and each day with it is like a growing romance (I'd better stop with that or I might get too mushy).

Looks like the fill flash you used did its job well...

Thanks alady, I shot these with the Canon Mark II and 50-500 lens hand-held with fill flash. I like the last primarily because of the red berries. Some say that if you have some "red" in your photo you get immediate attention. I agree and was quite pleased when this tree rat decided to have red berries for late lunch.

Wow, hand held, I honestly thought one could not hand hold a lens like that. I can do it with my 300mm but was told there was no way I could do so with anything bigger:!:
