Hi Norm;

Excellent shots, Norm. I like the second shot the best; it's got the best DOF on the subject. Interestingly, the last shot, with an obstruction in front of the subject, and the second bird really out of focus, is still areally effectiveshot.

Appreciate the comments.

I enjoyed, Tom, your remarks on focus since that was what I was toying with at the cone tree. Actually, I have a few more of those two, exchanging focus between the two:

Great shots, Norm. I like how you are experimenting with DOF. It's something I'm learning to better appreciate as DOF seems to be so much more of a concern with the 20D DSLR compared to the P&S digicams I used before!

My last id (or next to last) before I jet off overseas tomorrow morning... These are House Sparrows, Norm...
