Took a walk along the Boise River last night and right at sunset got lucky.

We don't get Red Shafted Flickers here (only yellow) so its nice to see what they look like and how they differ.

Ahh, zoomn, you're posting again - good! Some very nice shots here. The flicker is very nice but the wood duck shots are stunning! Wood ducks are so ornate...

Glad you liked the wood ducks. I love their colors.

Board has been kind of slow lately withfew responses so I have found a couple more active bird sites I have been frequenting.

How are you getting along with your new camera?
