Prior to perch is awesome! The anticipation of him hitting the ground and holding the food in his mouth. You really froze the moment.

They are all nice but prior to perch is another of those special photos you seem to have the ability to produce on a regular basis.

Nicely done!!

Yep, I'm with zoomn, Norm. That prior to perch image is very special. Now, I've got to say that the others are also very good but that last one has too many things going for it and just stands out above the others!!!!

See, even in the off-season in Alberta you can still find birds and do great justice for them in your picture taking...

i like the third and fourth the best

the frozen action in the last one is amazing norm! timing is unbelievable!

Actually, I'm encouraged by the fact that there still are a few here and there. In fact, I saw a few of what I think are grosbeaks with great colors but the photos weren't that great. Perhaps another day on those.

Well, I think you got a pretty nice shot of that one little yellow guy the other day. I didn't comment on the string because I wasn't on my work computer which goes alot faster than my chugger on telephone line.
