Very nice shot, Lin. How does your Sigma react to the cold weather?

I appreciate that you include exposure data with your shot. I used to do that, but most people don't - so I quit. :-)

That's a lot of snow!

Hi Guys,

Thanks! Yes considering the amount of snow this year this guy is in great shape - nice, healthy young buck.

The Sigma seems to handle the cold well - I use a battery grip for additional voltage life and it's pretty necessary in really cold weather, especially with the stabilized 80-400mm lens. I like the Sigma for snow because it has less tendency to blow the highs than my Canon's, but would like a larger buffer and faster burst like my 1D and 1D Mark II, but it does a great job handling the extremes of contrast.

Best regards,

Lin
