These were all in the one tree, Im sure they are very young as they seemed to have little fear of me being only about 5 feet from them in full view:-)the tree had about five of them in it, all identical.

These are great shots,and for the most part a bird with that much down outside of a nest is going to be this years hatch. All cute and fuzzy.

Great shots! Were you using a flash to give the even lighting on the bottom (and normally shaded) part of the body? Just wondering!

Thanks, yes, I used fill in flash for these in mid day light. I dont like the Drebel built in flash much but it appears to have worked well this time:-)

I was surprised too, they are very inquisitive little things and where I filmed them, there are very few humans around so maybe they were wondering what I was:-)
