Anotherlittle speedy guy from down by the river, I had to shoot manual with these as well. Was pushing the Drebel lens to the limit here.

Totally different from what we have over here in california. I like his/hers eyes and colorful beak.

Looks to me like you did a fine job in a difficult backlit scenario. Pretty bird, sharp photos and nicely exposed bird in what appears to have been an extreme photo situation. Great job.

Thanks Norm, Im going to go back and try again soon, I want to get better shots, a lot of waiting for these birds though. I am starting to realize how time consuming this is.
