Normcar really nice shot. Bummer of course he is looking the other way but it shows the red off on the back of his head.

The color and detail in this shot are impressive.

Thanks zoomn, actually, I like the backside on this particular one better than if the bird had been face first, primarily because of what you said, the red backing. It helps to create a sort of painterly effect on this one that I really liked. However, I'm a bit of a painter too so I'm biased :lol:

nice shot, I think the fact that it is winter over there and the backgrounds are pale makes all the difference, I wonder if the bird would look so striking if you had taken the shot in spring or summer. Your bird shots in the snow have been really nice.
