Very nice exposure in this one smac, and the pose is good too. I also like the surroundings. Looks like a keeper to me.

The sky is so blue, the hawk so clear. Did you use a polarizer?

No polarizer on this shot. Just a gorgeous day and some luck with the focus. I did have a uv haze filter on to protect the lens but, that's it.

Normcar, Thanks for the compliments. I got about 4 good clear shots of this guy. I was very happy with the results myself:G

Nice catch on these. Getting good shots of a hawk like this is hard to beat.

My favorite is the third one as well.
