These pix are from a trip to a protected area near the Mississippi. The deer are very comfortable with people since they haven't been hunted. Here are a few shots...

The shot with nothing but snow as a background has a bit of purple fringing:sad:, most visible around the deer's right ear (right ear as seen from behind the animal). A tiny amount of purple fringing is visible around the other ear and the bottom part of the nose that is above a patch of white fur. I don't think you could've helped it. The camera's fault (high contrast areas are real tough on many cameras). IMO, the fringing is within acceptable limits.

All the shots are great I like the 1st shot the most, but it leads by only a very small margin:blah: I should think the deer in the last pic must be feeling a little silly with that snow on it's face.:G
