Yes, that seemed to fit nicely, Vito, never thought about it that way but it fits,and I'm pleased that this is reinforcing your snowbird appreciation. Now if you could only feel the cold wind, frost bitten toes and purple finger tipstoo thenyou'd really get some reinforcing

lol, norm, we got a small taste of that up here on monday, it was 12 degrees...wind chill was probably under 0..

and of course, i picked that day to take some shots of the evening light on the lichen covered tree bark...lol, no gloves...man that stunk

of course, no snow that day...so it REALLY stunk!

Really nice shots! I like 2 and 4. 2 just looks like its going 100 mph and 4
looks to me like he just plain fell off the branch! I ran into a flock of
these guys a couple of days ago. It was late in the day though. It did
give me a chance to mess with the new flash unit I got. Only got one
that came out descent. I guess it will just take some time to learn all
the quirks.

BTW, I could never get tired of seeing these little guys, although nuthatches are
my favorite.
