great shot the action is awesome!

i've had a hard time capturing great blues...even when i can get within 30 feet! the colors just don't look right, and they're never sharp...hopefully i'll have more success with my rebel

anyway, nice work here! stop action is great

That is a great action shot - I know how hard it is to get these guys as they take off, I usually have one part of it in the lens as they seem to take off so fast. You sure were fast on the shutter. What shutter speed did you use?

The voice of rationality in the Q&A forums takes really good photos too. Wonderful action. Looks like a super wetland area.

I like the frozen in time feel of this photo. As for the matching colours, Martha Steward would be impressed.
