Taken under a bridge at a local dam.

Camera info:
Canon 20D @ ISO 1600,
Lens Canon EF 100-300 F4-F5.6 USM @ 300mm,
Exposure F8, 1/200sec,
handheld hanging from fence.

Processing
Raw conversion to 16bit psd using PS CS engine
Neat Image
Levels, Unsharp mask
Resize and convert to 8bit jpg for web

Don't know what isup this group anymore. They seem to live year round at the foot of the dam, and don't even considerbooking a flight south for the winter anymore. :lol:

Waiting for the day they start spraying duckiffittie on the walls to mark their territory from the gulls and geese.

I hope you had a safety rope.

Nice mood photos; it's like I'm there myself, dangling from a bridge, freezing myself while mallards try to find some warmth inside their own frigid feathers.

:GI can't figure out why they put the fence there, except to really annoy photographers.

Or maybe it is to stop kids from flying into the river (this is at the bottom of a popular hill used for tobogganing), nah that would not be it. I think it is there just to annoy photographers. :blah:
