Very attractive to me mullen. So far thats one of the hardest birds for me to get a shot at. They dart down to my feeders or water station and back into the trees up high. They will get fairley close to me but not long enough to get the camerato my eye.

Thanks Houston,

These guys definitely don't sit still very long. A couple of tricks I've learned with them is that they will land in the same spot over and over again, so you can focus and meter there and just wait. Also, if they land with a seed they will stay put for a while, too. Still one the hardest for me to get a good shot of, too. Also because the whitest part on them tends to over-expose so easily. I'm setting my EV compensation to -2/3 now and seem to be getting better exposures of them.
