Not great shots but just wanted to share how right light angle shows off their colorful gorget

This is how he/she looks most of the time



Now with better light angle






BTW - These are 100% crops.

Seriously! I love the clearness and colours of these pictures. Which cam and settings did you use? I'm asking because I'm trying to do similar shots of birds which I find very hard.

Colorful indeed; excellent shots bobby. Reminds me of last summer when I sat for weeks under the hummer tree with my 50-500.
