That is a lovely owl. What type is it? I know that in the UK you get some owls that we don't have here in the US.

It looks like that tuft sticking out on our right side is by design (I can sorta see the one on the left) is that true?

Thanks Its a EuropeanEagle Owl, the "ears" are the feathers sticking out. I love the pic cos you can see the reflections in its eyes...well you can on my own copy

Bmullen, it was a little easy to get, I attended an owl sanctuary here in the Lake District, Cumbria but even so, she had a habit of not wanting to have her picture taken.....took a while
