You have a great picture there Pierre. Looks to me like his lunch should last a few days. :lol: I don't know what it is as I am at work now and don't have my book here. And if you have them send some more.

I have never seen one of those before. Where was this scene? Was it in the wild or captive?

You did a great job exposing for the dark feathers. Very well done.

I took those shots on a wildlife river in Costa Rica in a little boat.Theres so many birds to see, its wonderful, even crocrodile on that river.

It could be a Zone-Tailed or Black Hawk. They are pretty common down throughout Mexico and southward. Just a guess since I have never seen one in person.
That's a really nice shot. Eric's right the exposure is spot-on. Good job.
