My wife caught this nice shot of a local osprey.

Canon S1 IS at max zoom croped and resampled (prior to reducing for this post).

Very nice. We have them along the river here,too, but I havent been able to get a picture as good as yours.

We certainly got lucky. We were out for a short cruise on our boat and the osprey didn't act very concerned as we idled by. It flew off and grabbed a fish just after we got the picture.
