Here is a shot of a Parrot I took this week at Bush Gardens. Tell me what you think.

Generally I like it. My two comments are
1) It's a pity it isn't facing you. That would give the picture more impact.
2) It looks a little soft. But there is still a lot of detail so I'm not sure it matters a lot.

Keep it up, this is a good one.

Nice shot. I like parrots. Yes, a little more face would have been nice. It doesn't look soft to me. A little noisy but not soft. I would have done noise removal first if it didn't take much away from the details. I also have an FZ-20 and love it! It's a great versatile camera.

Thanks for sharing. -- Steven

I think you did an excellent job of recording an extremely pretty bird. Sharpness is so subjective that I won't comment on it but will say, as eric has stated, a lot of detail can be found. Your choice of crop is pleasing as it offers a nice balance of positive and negative space, your blur is nice but some areas areslightly over exposed to me. I suspect, however, that this was necessary in order to expose the bird properly. It could be fixed in processing without much trouble. Once alady took out some of the excess noise the final product looks great.

Good job.
