Good variety of heron there; I don't usually equate Brooklyn with a load of bird types; looks like you have more there than in many other locations. Great birds, and I hope to see a few this year up here.

Don't usually think of birds like heron when you say brooklyn. Looks
like you get a good variety there. In my area, you mostly find Blue Heron
and very rarely a Green Heron.

The only one I don't have MANY pictures of is the Tri color. I've seen, but did not photography the Bittern. So if you look in a book of Herons (and Egrets are herons) they are all COMMON in Brooklyn. Of course you have to know where to go...
