Due to the bad weather on my holiday we had to stay in but with this kind of view who will complain.
all shot on ISO 800/1600 with canon 20D and Sigma 80-400OS.

Yes, #2 is cute but I think #3 is even cuter even if it isn't completely in focus. I think it very much like my dog that this bird is standing there with one leg holding down what it is dining on...

Great shots Frank, shows what that lens and handlercan do nicely. I love the second one for DOF, pose, dynamic contrast and sharpness and the pink background and fadingmonochrome floorlineswork out great here. I also like the first one as the birds are coming towards the camera and things are sharp (getting birds to fly towards us is sometimes difficult). The third is not as technically successful but, as Geoff says, the pose is worth the money in and of itself. Nice ones.

I doubted the last one because it's not technical ok but I also loved the pose and attitute of this little guy .

I really like the action captured in the first of and I love the expression caught on the little guy in the second one.

Some really nice shots of some really colorful birds. That third ones pose is
really cute. That look and pose on the second one is pretty cute as well.
