Great job zoomn, that last one is perhaps the most detailed photo I have ever seen of the heron. The eyeball is terrific and that pony-tail protruding from the back of the head turn this thing into some sort of beatnik bird. Love it! Great exposure too and the contrast looks pretty good as well. The water makes a perfect background for this shot as well. Nothin' much bad I can say about it...just plain fine.

Hi Normcar, glad you like the photo and really appreciate you comments.

He looks pretty rough cause it had rained for two days straight and been quite windy. As soon as the rain stopped I got out and took these pictures.

I am not around much these days because I have a new job where I actually have to work during the day so only get on here once in a while now.

I hope I haven't missed too much of your good stuff. I will try to get on here more at night.

Great shots zoom. The second one is definately top notch! The fade into
blur of the background really helps to accentuate the head detail.
