This is a sentry for a small group of Ravens. I've watched this group for two years now. He turned out to be a frustrated Sentry

Here's another view of him. He was trying to warn his buddies that a human with a large dog were on the loose. But in this case, his buddies were preoccupied, with of all things, eating snow! There is no fresh water near this beach, and snow is wonderful fresh water.

Here is one of his buddies indulging in this treat of fresh snow. The sentry was increasingly annoyed and eventually actually flew over and demanded that they all leave.

Nearby, this Mockingbird was also facinated with the fresh snow.

Another view of the sam Mockingbird

I think that these mockingbird photos are real nice and the eye is very well defined. I also like the background colors; everything fits nicely together and the dash of snow adds some spice.
