Real nice shot of a wonderful looking bird. It appears as though this one was enjoying the attention. The eye sparkles a touch, which is always attention getting. Pretty decentexposurecontrol of what appears to have been an extremely bright and high sun.

Actually I think I pushed these shots a bit too much, but then a Black Duck has very dark, if not black feathers. So I compromised...

I wanted to show off the hidden patterns of the feathers.

No. these were shot early, although the sunlight was strong and direct.
