Saturday before I went to photo the ducks, stopped at one of my favorite birding spots,
and got this photo. Decided I would see what ISO 800 was like on the 20D.
This is a 50 % crops of the original shot, some NR, and sharpenning. I was really
suprised at how little NR I had to do and the resolution that was available at ISO 800 on the 20D. Here's the results:

400 mm, f/8, 1/1600


This one was at ISO 400
400 mm, f/8, 1/500

Thanks for posting. Great shots. They would make for a great advertisement for the 20D.

These are very good Woodmeister. One of these days I'm going to post a Woodpecker. You just wait and see. :lol:.
