Hi all. I am new to the forum and thought that you might appreciate a little wildlife from the other side of the world. My apologies for the poor resolution but the pic was taken with a Sony PC100 Video cam, recording at only about 1 MPixel to memory stick, and I cropped a bit of the background. The Wild Dog was one of a pack of 15 that surrounded our car. This was a real priviledge as there are only about 5000 of these animals left in the wild. Pity I didn't get to see them after I got my Nikon D70.

Hi Nils,

Welcome to the forum. It is great to have people from all over the world sharing photos and knowledge. I like the pic. We don't get to see wild dogs here. Looking forward to your sharing some pics from your D70.

Welcome Nils, I would love to see what the rest of the world has to offer.

Your wild dog picture would make a great Avatar.

Cheers,
smac

Neat looking ears on this one. This isn't a bad shot considering that it came from a video camera.
