An Amur falcon took off, and once again I was not really ready, but managed a quick burst [I wish they would give some signal before moving on]

I do like the way he's looking at me to say 'better luck next time" Unfortunately, these chaps have headedback Russia way, and we'll only see them in October again

Thanks for the comments, Houston and 2lexq

Houston, how's the weather now, you said it had been raining a lot [maybe you can send some here, we have been quite drought stricken for about a year now, although it has recently rained a fair bit, they have just lifted water restrictions off]

Cheers

Hey at least you got most of him in the frame. Half the time I am happy to get a foot.

A nice action photo.

Hi Jake, the rain has stopped and the sun is out. Sorry to hear about your drought but maybe its over now. Hope so. The only problem I'm having now is getting home from work before the sun settles for the night. Hard to get good photos without the sun isn't it. I have 2 or 3 that I'm trying to get posted tonight. Left over from last weekend.
