Very interesting. Kind of looks like a cat with a dog's face. I like the second one best.

Merekat? Looks more like a Meredog to me. :lol:

Cute and full of character, as so many of your photos are, great job. And your exposure on the second one and the last two is absolutely perfect.

A meerkat is a kind of Mongoose, and they are just the most adorable critters around.

They look great when standing upright:

They are native to the African grasslands and I didn't know you could find them in Australia.

Were you at the zoo?

P.S. Jake do you have any shots of meerkats in your catalogue? I'd love to see some more.

These were at western Australia's Perth zoo, no none of these are wild over here.:-)
