Had a short break in the crappy weekend weather yesterday and managed to
get a couple photos.

The New Arrival
Got this photo of an Eastern Phoebe. These guys are summer residents here.
Can the warblers and such be far behind?

The Yearround Tenant
Got this photo of a nuthatch. Yes, those white specks in the background
are snowflakes.

both shots are nice, cute birds. I like the one with the snow flakes , it never ceases to amaze me how birds survive this cold weather.

Good shots of both of them Woodmeister. Hope the weather has cleared up for you. It was crappy down here for a while also but its cleared up now and the sun is shining and its approaching 80 degrees. :-)

Cheers

Great shots Woodmeister. I really like the setting you captured the Phoebe in.

I like the nuthatch with the snow flakes. The phoebes are more common here in northern CA but never seen a nuthatch.
