By no means the best photograph in the world. Shooting with a scope, I'm afriad I just can't shoot at high enough speed to freeze the motion of such a relatively small bird - Even so, this Flicker rose off the dark land at dawn and lifted right into the light of the rising sun.

Niceuse of the sunlight - allowing it to luminate the bird's wings. I like it.

I WISH, that I planned this shot. Then I could duplicate it at will...:-)

It is more a situation where I say "oh, please, please, please, give me another chance...
