In the image three you can see a Snowy Egret, and in the last image, the Yellowlegs apparetnly tired of hanging out with a Great Egret, shares a spot with the Snowy.

All pictures taken an hour after dawn in a tidal pond in Brooklyn at low tide. This area at high tide is a lake.

The white line? Hmm? Looks like I cropped outside the box...

These birds actually fish for different things, the Yellowlegs, going after small insects, crustacieans, while the Egrets are after fish and larger crustaceans...
