Stunning shots, Norm.
Thanks mullen, and the fat little beaver thanks you too. I was quite surprised at exactly how gigantic this beast was when he slipped out of the brine. This one needs to quit the McDonalds habit.

You have some fantastic shots here Norm. All of them are sharp and excellent quality but none of them help to make him less ugly do they.

Houston
Thanks, Houston, but...hey, better watch out or you're gonna have beaver nightmares :?
Norm, we recently had a news item up here in Canada about a man who was viciously attacked by a beaver. It was quite a mauling. He got bit on the hands and the legs and... other places. Who would have known those things could jump!

By the way I love the shots.

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada

Really good shots here Norm. I especially like the forth shot. His reflection
in the water and the DOF is just right to get you to focus on the face.

Interesting story, Tom. Glad you told me after the fact or I may not have gotten so close to this one. Icertainly wouldn't have wanted this one to leap at me.

Terrific shots normcar. I liked them all. This surely was a case of serendipity or as they used to say "F8 and be there". Probably better than the ducks you were hoping for.
