I spotted this guy the other day when I was cruising through the woods.
It's not often that you see mink long enough to get photos of them, but
this guy would cruise down the creek, hop on shore, run aroun a little,
jump back in the creek and hop back out again. Anyway, here's a couple of photos
I got of him.

20D, 100-400L@365, ISO 400

It's been a while since I posted a chippy and this is one I caught yesterday.
It was kind of cute. He would jump into the leaves, then after a little bit
would poke his head out.

That's pretty awesome woodmeister. I've never seen a picture of a mink before, and these are crystal clear. Excellent effort to capture these shots.

I agree. Excellents captures. I've never seen a mink in the wild.

Thanks all for the comments. Usually when I do see them, which is very rare, it
is usually just a quick glimpse of them jumping into the water. It was a
treat to see this guy running around on land.

Great shot wm, love that little bundle of fur, slick as they come, all cute and surprised as all get up, looks like he wasn't expecting the likes of you and your lens.
