They are a little different from our American Robin. And they sure are a pretty bird. Is that the male and female.

That scarlet robin is really a pretty bird. The white breasted robin looks like
a hermit thrush stripped of it's spots. All realyy nice photos.

Woody, yes I do love this place, it's loaded with wildlife.

Houston, Im not sure of the sex of these two, I don;t know much about them, I believe they are both a different breed of bird though.

Killdeer007 The camera is a 300D (digital rebel) and the lens is a canon 100-300 usm zoom lens, these were taken at F8 ISO 400 at 300mm

Thanks for the information. I was thinking of buying the same lens or perhaps a Sigma 100 - 300 F4 lens. Would you recommend the Canon? Any regrets? Any suggestions on other lenses?
