I'm sorry to say I've never met Bob. But thanks to you, I'll recognise him when I run into him...

I wonder if that eye was blown up a bit more, whether I could recognise YOU!:-)

In the yard these are easy to spot but in thier element the coloration works very well, hard to spot. But if you hear them you will most certainly remember them. They sing the name "Bob White" with the accent on the second sylable in an increasing pitch.

Very interesting bird with real nice coloration. I've heard of them but not yet had the pleasure of actually seeing one. Thanks for the treat.

Nice shot tomsch. Nice detail and contrast on this sets of the coloration well.
So far, when I spot these guys, they are deep in bushes or high grass. (That
is, just a moment before they fly off!)
