Here are some more shots of the Rough Legged Swallow and one of a flying Tree Swallow. All done with Mark II and 200/1.8 lens:

These are all great Norm. Looks like you were close enough to the first one for him to peck on your lens. I haven't had much time to comment or take pictures lately. I've been working 11 hrs a day, 6 days a week lately but I'm going to Florida on vacation for 2 weeks beginning this weekend. My daughter lives in Orlando and she has already got a few places picked out where I might find some interesting wildlife. Looking forward to getting away and having some fun.

Regards

Houston

Thanks all so much, I really appreciate the nice words.'

Houston, good luck on that trip and I look forward to your posts. It should be real fun and lucrative in a photographic way too.

REally nice shots norm. I like 2 and 4 the best. The soft light and sharp detail really make a nice photo.

As usual, very good shots Norm. I especially like the the capture of the
lighting and background coloration. It all makes for an interesting and
quite pleasing effect.

Thanks zoomn and wm, I appreciate you taking a look at these cuties. It's raining today and grey; it was blue and sunny all week long, then the weekend comes and it rains...go figure.
