Excellent shots Dave. I've never seen Egrets fight...hummingbirds, yes, Egrets, no. Great exposure and background too. Morning light is very nice...usually quiet too. Folks tend to sleep away the best time of the day. Woody

I can't say I've seen if often, and I spend a lot of time looking at them and Herons. But I've seen it before. In this case, the second Egret was actually chased twice, the other bird following him. This was not a territory thing, because there were other birds around, and he chased him far enough the first time.

You know how it goes, one croak leads to another and before you know it beaks are flying and feathers being pulled...:lol:
