And they are VERY hard to approach. And their colors are so different according to the angle of light. I have some unprocessed images from Thursday that might be better....

These were taken from three hundred yards off

You sure do get a nice variety of wildlife there, Dave. It's quite amazing considering where it is. Nice shots here, especially considering the distance.

I've looked at the images I took on Thursday and some of them are a bit better. I'll post them later on.

The places I shoot in are rich in wildlife, far more than any place I've ever been. You travel around the country and find out there's no place like home....

One place I shoot, not this one, is Floyd Bennet Airfield. It was abandoned forty years ago and I have some nice images of these guys actually shot on a road. But I'm going to have to post that it's a road, after forty years it looks like a meadow...:lol:
