The book says, their feet and end of the bill (near the eye) turns orange-red when in breeding season. Shot at local rookery using 100-400L and 10D.

I liked all the pictures butthe firstone definitely needsto be framed and put on a wall. Great job.

Nice shots bobby - the top one has a "Beavis 'n Butthead" look onhis face [no reflection on your shots, they're excellent]

Man I wish we had these birds here in Idaho, they are awesome looking.

My favorite is the second it looks perfect to me. Great shot!

Nice shots of a really cool bird. The first shot is quite wonderful. Everything fits to
set off the bird. But I really like the third shot. Can't put my finger on any
particulars, but I keep scrolling back down to check it out. There's just
something about it that I find eye catching.
