great shots!! that peewee is cute and right on!!!

ThomasATC: yes to both!!! the extra 200mm is a great help and getting closer helps more.

Thanks guys. Thomas, I agree with dennis, the answer is yes to both.
The Heron and swallow shots were done in "stalking mode". The peewee
however was different. I was walking a trail and got to a spot where I was
hearing a lot of bird activity, so I found myself a nice log, sat down and waited.

Thanks Dennis and Woodmeister.

I will put the 1.4 convertor on next time with the 70 200 and see if it helps. Now I need to find ways of getting closer. :-)
