1. A young Green Heron venturing out for a drink.

2. Another young one almost hidden in the heavy growth. Could barely get all of him thru the branches and leaves. ISO 400, 1/25, F10 at 400mm, Cropped, resized, Levals and FM.

Real nice work, Houston. It must have been a joy to watch this little family going about the daily tasks. The first one is excellent, everything comes together in it, color, organization, exposure, sharpness...etc.

Houston - FANTASTIC shots, and No.1 is certainly wildlife magazine quality, REALLY REALLY good !! As Norm says, the exposure, color, mood etc. is just perfect

I'm all over that first shot, Houston, and the other shots are very good too. It always feels good, at least for me, when I take a bunch of shots and end up with one or two gems like that first picture!
