Walking through the local sanctuary again yesterday, and this tree was occupied by 8 waxwings-I think Bohemian? Correct me if I'm wrong. Finally got a book of Canadian wildlife and matched these little guys up to the Bohemian. Anyway, this one little fella looked like he was going to explode. All puffed up. Funny as heck. Cheers....thekman.

4. Group preening. They seem like they're quite a sociable lot. Thanks for looking. Cheers.......thekman.

Great shots Kman, they are Cedar Waxwings, the yellow in the belly is the giveaway on that one. Lovely shots.

Thanks Norm. I wondered about the yellow belly, as the photo of the Bohemian that I have was almost a dead ringer, but not quite. Thanks again for the info, and looking. Cheers.....thekman.

You have some nice shots here. I especially like the first shot. Not only did
you get that group, but you had a sufficient DOF to get some detail of the clouds in the
background which I think has a nice effect.
