The Marabou Stork is affectionately [??] known as the undertaker bird, and the Nile crocodile is, well, THE Undertaker, I thought it quite a classicpose of these two together.

I was going through my computer [doing a clean-up] and sorting out some older stuff, I thought I'd share this before removing it.

Thanks Cerambyx 'n Norm - I have to agree that Africa's wildlife IS fantastic, although perhaps not as prolific as commonly thought by non SA's - IE: there are no lions prowling our airports [there are other more dangerous "beasts"], and most of the "bigger" wildlife occurs in protected reserves, however, it is within the reach of most citizens of the country [I'm beginning to sound like an ambassador].

Cerambyx, I do have all my pics on CD/DVD, I just keep a good selection on myPC to use for viewing.

Thanks for looking in and commenting !!

Hi Jake. I too am glad you posted this one. You made a very unusual capture of both of them together and the black on that "undertaker bird" is exposed to perfection. A really good shot. PS, I made the splurg and it should arrive Monday.

Nice regards

Houston
