That meadow lark picture is awesome! Everything in that picture is great - shatpness, composition, background, the bird and his expression! It would be nice world to live in, if everybody was taknig such pictures like this... :-)

I agree, lovely shot of the meadowlark. It's a bird I have yet to get a shot at and you did a very fine job.

I like the meadowlark very much. I haven't had any luck with them. I like the open beak in your shot. Maybe you can crop a bit more from the sides.
