There hasn't been much opportunity to shoot for me the last couple of days. These are about it and really not great. But, I enjoyed taking them. All with the 20D and 100-400mm @400mm and handheld.

I really, really like the frog picture. As Norm points out, it's funny at first glance! A very interesting point of view for a frog shot. Really orginal!

Thanx Norm & Dave!!!! the frog is a bit unusual. there was another guy there with a nikon D100 & 80-400VR lense (what a quiet camera!!!!). i think he may have gotten a better pic as he was able to get down on his hands and knees or butt!!! i can't. so, he got a lower perspective wich is what i would have done. we thought the frog may have been high out of the water because of all the flying insects. we never saw him catch anything. the muskrat just kept shovelling the algae (or whatever the green stuff is) into it's mouth. i know i eat fast but he was going at warp speed!!! the grackle pic i cloned a branch out and some dust spots. for some reason grackles seem to be taking over everywhere!!! they can be nasty too!!! well, thanx again for the nice comments!!!
