Below is a continuation of the bluebird post. In this string the mother feeds the young. I will post the daddy feeding on another day. Thanks for taking a look:

Mark II body with 300/4 IS attached.

Compressed and sized down for faster download (since there are a number of images)

Where's mom?

There's mom!

Chow down

Gads, they're still screaming for more

A woman's work is never done...

Where'd she go?
I think she's a bit peeved.
Oh...why?

Thanks for the head's up, Dave, I resized and compressed. Hopefully you dialup folks will be able to see these now without too much trouble. I know how it is as I used to be a dialup person myself not too long ago.

Yes, it's hard to remember...

And my first modem was 1200...

This is a wonderful story you tell with these pictures. And the little ones are getting big. You would think Mom would figure out a way to hit the 7/11, than again she's clearly into ONLY organic food...

Hi Normcar,

These are absolutely beautiful pictures! The second photo gives visual meaning to keeping someone under their wing. :-) Neat capture.

The series of photos with the babies mouths wide openare cute beyond words.

Look forward to seeing more.

Thomas.

Thanks all, I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to share these moments with you. This sort of thing is what it's all about as far as I'm concerned. I could have watched these kids forever without getting bored. It's my pleasure to share the moments with you all.

Really wonderful series norm. I know what you mean about watching these guys.
Had a similar experience watching a mom swallow feeding her kids. Unfortunately,
they were just too far away for photos, but watched them for quite some time through the binoculars.
(The kids were perched on a tree out in the lake, so getting closer was not possible)
