Both are great, either cropped or uncropped, this is a very nice shot. I love the huge perch personally, and feel that the shot would be missing something if not included.

Beautiful shot! I'm with Normcar...I feel the log perch adds much to the shot. It's very natural along with the background. Great job. Woody

I like it very much. The crop in #1 seems a bit tight to me. Maybe leave some more room in front on right hand side.
