I shot these yesterday when our camera club went on an outing into an environmental protection area

Great action shots and the color in these is really nice; you froze the movement to near perfection, Julie. I really enjoyed viewing this grouping.

PS - There's only one very tiny crop I'd make personally in the last photo. I'd take a touch of the bottom out to get rid of that half-rock or clump of brown earth that distracts me from enjoying the main subject.

Thanks Norm, I never really noticed the rock, funny what other people see that I dont, I will crop it to improve the shot:-)

into the water rather than taking flight.

nice action shots!!! well done. i agree with Norm on the crop. i was wondering how a vertical crop would look with the 1st shot (my favorite).
